McManis Petit Sirah

Surrounded by lush vineyards, the McManis Family Vineyards winery is located on a 40-acre site near the town of Ripon in California’s abundant northern interior. Constructed in 1998, the large-capacity winery is dedicated to producing high-quality wines using “small winery” methods.

The grapes for our Petite Sirah are harvested in early October and have 6-9 days of fermentation on the skins. The must is then pressed and the wine finishes its fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged on new and used French and American Oak for 7 months.

You can expect a full-bodied wine with flavours of chocolate, caramel, toffee and rich black fruit. It has notes of mocha and shines with a deep purple colour and a long finish.
