Bodega Garzon Estate ‘Tannat de corte’

Produced at Bodega Garzon, a family-owned vineyard in Maldonado, Southern Uruguay. The Atlantic coast offers a maritime climate with mild temperatures and cooling breezes that calm the heat during the hot summer months, allowing the grapes to ripen gradually and create deep complex flavours.
It is produced from the Tannat grape, which has become known as one of the primary grapes in Uruguay due to its perfect match with the soil and climate. The grapes are fermented for around six months in stainless steel vats, with gentle temperatures to preserve the aromatics and fruit freshness. You can expect bold red fruit and dark fruit, including blackberry and plum, with notes of dark chocolate aromas and flavours, it has well-balanced acidity and a velvety body alongside high medium to high tannins that work well with this bold wine.
