Produced by the talented winemaker Elena Brooks and her husband Zar. The wines come from ancient, gnarled vines, some well over a hundred years old and planted at an altitude of 221 metres.

All grapes are hand-harvested before undergoing a gentle crush. Natural fermentation then takes place in open-top fermenters, where the must is hand-plunged twice a day followed by a careful pressing. It’s then transferred to French oak barriques to finish fermentation and maturing over 18 months. You can expect deep purple in colour with aromas and flavours that open with intense notes of rosemary, dark chocolate, plums, and white pepper, all intertwined with well-integrated oak undertones. The palate shows excellent depth, underpinned by wonderful acidity and fine tannins.
